Matt Lewis vs Alex McCorkle

Boxing Daily Report from the Adams Promotions promoted show at Lincoln Hettrick, Lincoln,  taking place on 07/09/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Nebraska Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Matt Lewis (12 - 8(2) - 2) who hails from Omaha, USA and Alex McCorkle(2 - 0) from Omaha, USA.  Both Lewis and McCorkle weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jasper McClory, and the three ringside judges are Edwyn Kendrick, John Murray and Jasper McClory.  

Round 1: 

McCorkle gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
McCorkle manouvers Lewis into a neutral corner.  McCorkle lands a left hook.  
Lewis advances into close range.  McCorkle hits home with a stinging right hook.  
Lewis tries to step out of his opponents range.  Lewis circles his opponent with a low guard, waiting for his opponent to attack.  McCorkle attempts to land a jab, but Lewis slips the shot and counters with a cross.

As they grapple, McCorkle pushes his forearm into Lewis's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
