Kolya Pavars vs Xalvador Belmontes

Boxing Daily Report from the HBLUE Promotions promoted show at Estadio José Rico Pérez, Alicante,  taking place on 19/09/2043:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Canal + Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Kolya Pavars (16(9) - 2(2)) who hails from Riga, Latvia and Xalvador Belmontes(28(3) - 11(5)) from Valladolid, Spain.  Pavars weighed in at 226 pounds and 2 ounces, while Belmontes weighed in at 222 pounds and 1 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Quinto Quezada, and the three ringside judges are Guido Alviar, Quinto Madrid and Salvador Vea.  

Round 1: 

Pavars lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.

Pavars is looking to keep the action on the outside and connects with a solid cross.  
Pavars lands a cross.  Pavars tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Pavars steps to the outside.  Pavars sidesteps to the left of his opponent and finds the target with a solid jab.  
Pavars lands a cross, overhand right and a cross to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!

Belmontes gets on the inside.  Pavars throws a right uppercut, but the shot is blocked.  Pavars holds on to his opponent.  Belmontes tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Pavars behind the head. The ref breaks Pavars's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Pavars switches the action to the outside and lands two jabs followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Belmontes steps inside and manages to force Pavars onto the ropes.  Belmontes drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  Belmontes throws a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Belmontes throws a left hook, but Pavars clinches his opponent.  Belmontes leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Pavars's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Pavars lands a right uppercut.  Pavars ties up his opponent.  Belmontes leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Pavars's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Pavars tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a ramrod jab.

Pavars lands a straight 1 - 2.  He continues the combination and lands an overhand left, jab and a cross to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS BELMONTES DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.

Pavars pivots to the left of his opponent.  Pavars throws a right uppercut, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Pavars clinches his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Belmontes pivots to the side of his opponent.  Pavars hits home with a stinging right uppercut.  
Belmontes walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Belmontes lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Pavars clinches his opponent.  Belmontes leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Pavars's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
