Peter McNeeley vs Ian Salton

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at AAMI Park, Melbourne,  taking place on 03/10/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Australia Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Peter McNeeley (31(18) - 19(10) - 1) who hails from Sunshine Coast, Australia and Ian Salton(21 - 11(8)) from Melbourne, Australia.  Both McNeeley and Salton weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dale Masoero, and the three ringside judges are Mark Costine, Euan Kier and Sam Luckie.
