Dan Collinson vs Joel Hamill

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Auckland promoted show at ABA Stadium, Auckland,  taking place on 14/09/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the New Zealand Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Dan Collinson (34(30) - 6(2)) who hails from Auckland, New Zealand and Joel Hamill(14 - 14 - 2) from Waitakere, New Zealand.  Both Collinson and Hamill weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jake Smith, and the three ringside judges are Henry Edmonston, Louis Paipa and Mike Sproule.  

Round 1: 

Collinson steps to the outside and finds the target with a ramrod jab.

Collinson pushes his forearm into Hamill's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Collinson to stop fouling.

Hamill closes the distance.  Collinson pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Collinson is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Collinson feints a left hook, and then lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Collinson lands two jabs followed by an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Collinson is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with a cross.  
Collinson lands a ramrod jab.

Hamill advances into close range and manouvers Collinson onto the ropes.  Hamill throws a right hook, but Collinson clinches his opponent.  Collinson leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Collinson lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Hamill attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores Collinson's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Collinson quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Hamill steps inside.  Collinson lands two left hook's to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Collinson tries to step out of his opponents range.  Collinson feints a cross, and then lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  He then lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Hamill quickly recovers. 
Collinson hits the target with a ramrod jab.  
Collinson lands an overhand right, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Hamill walks Collinson down, trapping him in the corner.  Collinson hits home with a stinging cross.  
Collinson steps to the outside and hits home with a spiteful jab.  
Hamill closes the distance.  Collinson connects with a left uppercut.  
Collinson tries to step out of his opponents range and lands with a solid jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Hamill's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Hamill's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.
