Joe Wan vs Charles Berry

Boxing Daily Report from the Harvey Parker promoted show at Vincent Lawgoch Gym, Leeds,  taking place on 17/09/2043:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Northern England Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are JW Joe Wan (26(16) - 6) who hails from Leeds, UK and Charles Berry(5 - 12(1) - 5) from Hull, UK.  Both Wan and Berry weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nathan Magee, and the three ringside judges are Jonathan Duane, Anton Kirk and Bryan Darrow.  

Round 1: 

Wan is looking to close the distance.  Berry pivots to the side of his opponent.  Berry throws a left hook, but Wan clinches his opponent.  Wan is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Wan and breaks the clinch.  
Wan advances into close range and digs in a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Berry pivots from in front of his opponent.  Berry throws a right hook, but Wan ties up his opponent.  Wan uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Berry's kidney. 
Wan lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Wan clinches his opponent.  Wan is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.

Berry lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  Wan is on target with a cross.
