Santiago Russi vs Manuel Ramon

Boxing Daily Report from the South American Boxing Federation promoted show at Senon Rodiguez Gym, Mendoza,  taking place on 17/09/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Argentina-Mendoza Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Santiago Russi (4 - 0 - 2) who hails from Mendoza, Argentina and Manuel Ramon(4 - 6 - 1) from Mendoza, Argentina.  Both Russi and Ramon weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Angel Velarde, and the three ringside judges are Cipriano Nepomuceno, Alfonso Malle and Edmundo Ferrin.  

Round 1: 

Russi voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Ramon tries to tag Russi on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  
Ramon is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left hook.  
Russi digs in a right uppercut to his opponents ribs.
