Sam Preece vs Amon Otoo

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Olympic Stadium, Montreal,  taking place on 10/10/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the WRBC Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Sam Preece (68(55) - 9(4)) who hails from Winnipeg, Canada and Amon Otoo(25(6) - 18(14) - 1) from Tamale, Ghana.  Preece weighed in at 117 pounds And 14 ounces, while Otoo weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Granger Hinault, and the three ringside judges are Vivien de Beauvoir, Sinjon Bellanger and Grant Pierre-Louis.  

Round 1: 

Preece closes the distance.  Otoo drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.  Otoo attempts to land a right uppercut, but Preece blocks the shot and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Preece attempts to land a left hook, but Otoo blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Preece digs in a sharp left hook to his opponents body.  
Preece forces Otoo to retreat onto the ropes.  Preece digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Preece pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Preece lands a right uppercut to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  
Preece lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Preece thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Otoo away.  Preece lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body, DROPPING OTOO TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  
Preece lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND OTOO IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  It looks like Otoo has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

Otoo leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Preece accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Otoo.  Preece lands a right hook to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
Preece advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.

Preece hits home with a cross.  Preece attempts to land a left hook, but Otoo sidesteps and counters with a right hook.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Otoo's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Otoo's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Otoo's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Otoo could be stopped here, if Preece can find the right shot!  Preece lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND OTOO IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.
