Zhu Ghakupow vs Waqas Mina

Boxing Daily Report from the Plunder Boxing promoted show at KLCC Exhibition Hall, Kuala Lumpur,  taking place on 05/10/2043:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Zhu Ghakupow (10(9) - 0) who hails from Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia and Waqas Mina(16 - 13(2) - 3) from Kuching, Malaysia.  Both Ghakupow and Mina weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Amjad Hamdan, and the three ringside judges are Azam Asmar, Jawad Baten and Saad Zogby.  

Round 1: 

Ghakupow drops his hands, and waves his opponent in.  Mina is on target with a cross.  
Mina closes the distance and manouvers Ghakupow onto the ropes.  Ghakupow hits home with a firm left uppercut.  Ghakupow holds on to his opponent.  Ghakupow leans on his opponent using all his weight. Ghakupow pushes his forearm into Mina's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Ghakupow lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Ghakupow holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Ghakupow pushes his forearm into Mina's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Ghakupow about fouling.  
Ghakupow lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Ghakupow ties up his opponent.  Ghakupow uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Mina behind the head. Ghakupow is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  Mina recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Ghakupow lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Mina recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Ghakupow is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Ghakupow knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Ghakupow whips in a spiteful right hook to his opponents body.  MINA IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 6.  Mina now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Ghakupow throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Ghakupow lands a SAVAGE cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE MINA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Mina almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Ghakupow is on target with a sharp cross.  
Ghakupow advances into close range and lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  Ghakupow holds on to his opponent.  Ghakupow is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Ghakupow and breaks the clinch.  
Ghakupow sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Ghakupow lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Ghakupow clinches his opponent.  Ghakupow leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  Mina recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Ghakupow drives a spiteful jab into his opponents face.  
Ghakupow gets on the inside.  Ghakupow sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Ghakupow lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Ghakupow steps inside and connects with a solid left hook.  
Ghakupow steps inside and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Ghakupow lands a right hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a left uppercut to the head.  
Ghakupow lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Ghakupow lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands two right hooks followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Mina almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Ghakupow lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Ghakupow is on target with a sharp left hook to his opponents body.  Ghakupow ties up his opponent.  Ghakupow leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Mina's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Mina's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Mina's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Ghakupow lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  He then lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Ghakupow holds on to his opponent.  Ghakupow is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Ghakupow's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Some sustained pressure from Ghakupow could be enough to finish Mina!  Ghakupow digs in a potent left hook to Mina's liver.  MINA IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  It looks like Mina has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Ghakupow feints a cross, and then lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Ghakupow closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS MINA DOWN!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Mina cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Ghakupow!
