Henry Spotswood vs Jacob Denton

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Knuckleheads Saloon, Kansas City,  taking place on 25/09/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Henry Spotswood (6(2) - 0) who hails from Indianapolis, USA and Jacob Denton(4 - 0 - 1) from Greeley, USA.  Both Spotswood and Denton weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gregor Dall, and the three ringside judges are Gregor Dall, George Mulloy and William Harkins.  

Round 1: 

Spotswood steps inside and is on target with a left hook.  Spotswood ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Spotswood pushes his forearm into Denton's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Spotswood about fouling.  
Spotswood sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Denton throws a right hook, but Spotswood holds on to his opponent.  Spotswood pushes his forearm into Denton's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Denton throws a left hook, but Spotswood ties up his opponent.  Spotswood leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Denton is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Spotswood lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Spotswood is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Spotswood lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND SENDS DENTON SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  Denton now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Denton throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Spotswood ties up his opponent.  Spotswood leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Spotswood's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Denton is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Spotswood feints a jab, and then lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Denton steps away from his opponent.  Spotswood lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Spotswood stands off with low guard waiting for his opponent to launch an attack.  Denton lands a cross.  
Spotswood advances into close range and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Spotswood is on target with a firm left hook to Denton's body.  Spotswood ties up his opponent.  Spotswood is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Spotswood's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Spotswood gets on the inside and drives a left hook into Denton's body.  Spotswood holds on to his opponent.  Spotswood tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Denton behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Denton tries to step out of his opponents range.  Spotswood is on target with a firm cross.  
Spotswood advances into close range and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the body, a right uppercut to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  
Spotswood finds the target with a jab.  
Spotswood lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Denton recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Spotswood advances into close range and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Spotswood is on target with a solid right hook to Denton's ribcage.

Denton quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Spotswood lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND DOWN GOES DENTON!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  Denton recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Spotswood lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands two left hook's to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Spotswood lands two consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Spotswood drives a sharp right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Spotswood manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Spotswood lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.

Denton throws a right hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Spotswood holds on to his opponent.  Spotswood leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Spotswood to stop holding.

Spotswood sidesteps to the right of his opponent and digs in a right hook to Denton's body.  
Spotswood advances into close range and lands a left hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.
