Sajid Halaby vs Shankar Tandon

Boxing Daily Report from the AI India-Tamil Nadu promoted show at Azam Abdelnour Gym, Chennai,  taking place on 22/09/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the India-Tamil Nadu Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sajid Halaby (1 - 6 - 2) who hails from Chennai, India and Shankar Tandon(5 - 16 - 3) from Chennai, India.  Both Halaby and Tandon weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Girish Mehra, and the three ringside judges are Madhav Kamdar, Aftab Dia and Jyotish Narra.  

Round 1: 

Tandon steps inside.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Tandon dabs at his face checking for damage.
