David Dickie vs John Fowlie

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Waikato promoted show at Mike Lovitt Gym, Hamilton,  taking place on 29/09/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Waikato Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are David Dickie (8 - 13 - 4) who hails from Hamilton, New Zealand and John Fowlie(3 - 16(1) - 4) from Hamilton, New Zealand.  Dickie weighed in at 129 pounds and 15 ounces, while Fowlie weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Aika Rako, and the three ringside judges are Josh Methven, Jack Carse and Leo Touch.  

Round 1: 

Dickie pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Fowlie steps inside.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Dickie dabs at his face checking for damage.
