Carlos Rendon vs Nasario Alfonso

Boxing Daily Report from the Kingson Promotions promoted show at Asuncion Merlo, Asuncion,  taking place on 30/09/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Paraguay-Asuncion Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Carlos Rendon (2 - 10) who hails from Asuncion, Paraguay and Nasario Alfonso(1 - 7 - 2) from Asuncion, Paraguay.  Both Rendon and Alfonso weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ricardo Rita, and the three ringside judges are Guillermo Rolando, Ricardo Rita and Agapetus Donoso.  

Round 1: 

Rendon tries to step out of his opponents range and hits home with a cross.  
Alfonso tries to land a left hook, but Rendon blocks the shot and counters with a left hook to Alfonso's ribs.
