Seth Pryce vs Noah Owen

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at SM MOA Arena, Manila,  taking place on 27/09/2043:

Clearly Ringside Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Seth Pryce (8(3) - 0) who hails from Birmingham, UK and Noah Owen(38(27) - 13(13)) from Sheffield, UK.  Pryce weighed in at 146 pounds And 15 ounces, while Owen weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ulises Ovando, and the three ringside judges are Joaquin Turinia, Franco Larios and Jerrold Magat.  

Round 1: 

Owen advances into close range and is on target with a right hook.  
Owen tries to land a jab, but Pryce slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Pryce steps to the outside and is on target with a stinging jab.  
Owen is looking to close the distance and is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Pryce tries to step out of his opponents range and lands two jabs to the body, and one to the head.  
Pryce lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Pryce lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Owen gets on the inside and manouvers Pryce onto the ropes.  Owen throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a sharp left hook.

Owen now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.

Owen advances into close range and cuts off the ring, trapping Pryce on the ropes.  Owen lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Owen dabs at his face checking for damage.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Pryce's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Owen's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Owen's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Owen gets on the inside.  Pryce pivots to the right of his opponent and digs in a firm left hook to his opponents body.  
Pryce is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Pryce tries to keep the action at long range.  Owen lands with a spiteful jab.  Owen throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Owen advances into close range and manouvers Pryce onto the ropes.  Pryce is on target with a sharp left hook.  
Owen lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Owen digs in a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Pryce lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.

Owen throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a BRUTAL right uppercut.  OWEN WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Owen recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Pryce switches the action to the outside and lands a CRUSHING cross.  OWEN IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 6.

Owen advances into close range.  Pryce crashes a mean left hook to his opponents ribs.  OWEN WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  As Pryce tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Owen dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Some sustained pressure from Pryce could be enough to finish Owen!  Pryce digs in a forceful left hook to his opponents body.  OWEN HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  It looks like Owen has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Pryce is looking to keep his distance.  Owen lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Owen advances into close range.  Pryce pivots from in front of his opponent and digs in a firm left hook to his opponents liver.  
Owen tries to land a left hook, but Pryce blocks the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.

Pryce steps away from his opponent and DETONATES a FIERCE overhand right on his opponents face.  IT LOOKS LIKE OWEN WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Owen is looking to close the distance.  Pryce senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Owen and just needs the right shot.  Pryce lands a right uppercut, left uppercut and a cross to his opponents head, AND DROPS OWEN TO THE CANVAS!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Pryce!
