Mark Mellis vs David Mattick

Boxing Daily Report from the GOAT Promotions promoted show at Thornton Wason, Thornton,  taking place on 06/10/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Colorado Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mark Mellis (1 - 10 - 2) who hails from Boulder, USA and David Mattick(7 - 5) from Denver, USA.  Mellis weighed in at 112 pounds, while Mattick weighed in at 112 pounds and 14 ounces.    As Mattick came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Wayne Bardsley, and the three ringside judges are Mark Brimer, Gregor Alexander and Paul Pollick.
