Joseph Methvin vs Ian Kydd

Boxing Daily Report from the Bones promoted show at Max Waddle Gym, New York City,  taking place on 06/10/2043:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-New York State Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joseph Methvin (19(8) - 0) who hails from Syracuse, USA and Ian Kydd(14 - 8 - 4) from New York City, USA.  Both Methvin and Kydd weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Leo Cary, and the three ringside judges are Rich Kelly, Justin Giancola and Dom Guffey.  

Round 1: 

Methvin is on target with a hard jab.  
Methvin steps inside and is on target with a left hook.

Methvin sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Methvin drives a stinging left uppercut into Kydd's body.  Methvin holds on to his opponent.  Methvin is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Methvin and breaks the clinch.
