David Wambugu vs Amer Qazi

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Kiambu promoted show at Kikuyu Kipyego, Kikuyu,  taking place on 08/10/2043:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Kenya-Kiambu Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are David Wambugu (16 - 1(1)) who hails from Kikuyu, Kenya and Amer Qazi(4 - 1 - 1) from Ruiru, Kenya.  Wambugu weighed in at 168 pounds and 9 ounces, while Qazi weighed in at 168 pounds.    As Wambugu came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the titles on the line tonight.  
The referee tonight is Mark Kamande, and the three ringside judges are Max Arita, Elliot Icharia and Elliot Icharia.
