Brandon Curran vs Cody Devlin

Boxing Daily Report from the Iain Llewellyn promoted show at University Arena, Limerick,  taking place on 24/10/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Irish-Munster Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Brandon Curran (20(2) - 2) who hails from Cork, Ireland and Cody Devlin(12 - 13(1) - 5) from Cork, Ireland.  Curran weighed in at 121 pounds and 13 ounces, while Devlin weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nathan Donnelly, and the three ringside judges are Felix Curran, Henry Ross and Evan Coghlan.  

Round 1: 

Curran digs in a sharp right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Curran is looking to close the distance.  Curran pivots to the left of his opponent.  Curran throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Curran clinches his opponent.  Curran is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Curran about fouling.

Curran advances into close range and manages to force Devlin onto the ropes.  Curran pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.

Curran advances into close range and attempts to land a right uppercut, but Devlin blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.

DEVLIN IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  HE UNSTEADILY TRIES TO GET UP BUT IS UNABLE TO BEAT THE 10 COUNT!  The winner by KO is Curran!
