Phillippe Carol vs Larrimore Jacques

Boxing Daily Report from the Ferry Boxing promoted show at Aeronef, Lille,  taking place on 23/10/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Phillippe Le Singer Carol (9(5) - 1) who hails from Nantes, France and Larrimore Jacques(3 - 10(1) - 1) from Boulogne-Billancourt, France.  Carol weighed in at 125 pounds And 14 ounces, while Jacques weighed in at 125 pounds And 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Montague Pinault, and the three ringside judges are Boden Ogier, Colar Delon and Sezni Prost.  

Round 1: 

Carol is looking to keep his distance and hits home with a cross.  
Carol switches the action to the outside.  Carol quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.

Carol gets on the inside and is on target with a firm left hook.  
Carol quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut.  
Carol sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Carol is on target with a left uppercut.  Carol holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Carol pushes his forearm into Jacques's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Carol gets on the inside.  Carol sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Carol gets on the inside.  Carol pivots to the left of his opponent.  Carol lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.  Carol holds on to his opponent.  Carol throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. Carol pushes his forearm into Jacques's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Carol.  
Carol walks Jacques into a corner.  Carol pivots to the right of his opponent.  Carol is on target with a firm left hook.  Carol ties up his opponent.  Carol is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Jacques hits home with a right hook.  
Carol sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  
Jacques walks Carol onto the ropes.  Carol lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Carol lands a jab followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Jacques closes the distance.  Carol pivots to the side of his opponent.  Carol lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Carol holds on to his opponent.  Carol leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Carol digs in a right hook to Jacques's body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Jacques's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Jacques's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Carol walks Jacques down, trapping him in the corner.  Carol feints a cross, and then is on target with a right hook.  
Jacques throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Carol is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross.  
Carol steps inside.  Carol pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a sharp left uppercut.  
Carol pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.

Carol quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Jacques tries to land a left hook, but Carol parries the shot and counters with a left hook.

Carol leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Carol's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  Jacques almost instantly gets his legs back.

Carol pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS JACQUES TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Carol is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Carol lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES JACQUES!  He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is Carol!
