Jeremy Perry vs Ian Dixon

Boxing Daily Report from the Top Shelf Prospects promoted show at Brixton Academy, London,  taking place on 24/10/2043:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jeremy Perry (11(5) - 0) who hails from Birmingham, UK and Ian Dixon(12 - 13(4) - 2) from Wakefield, UK.  Perry weighed in at 199 pounds and 13 ounces, while Dixon weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Edwyn Whitfield, and the three ringside judges are Adam MacLaine, Aaron McNabb and Charles Mylne.  

Round 1: 

Perry gets on the inside.  Dixon pivots from in front of his opponent.  Dixon throws a left hook, but Perry ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Perry pushes his forearm into Dixon's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Perry about fouling.  
Perry lands a sharp cross.  
Perry gets on the inside and digs in a left hook to Dixon's body.  
Perry drives a right uppercut into Dixon's body.  
Perry lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Perry lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Perry ties up his opponent.  Perry leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Perry dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Perry closes the distance and drives a right hook into Dixon's ribcage.  
Perry drives a left hook into Dixon's body.  
Perry gets on the inside and digs in a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Perry lands a sharp cross.  
Perry closes the distance and connects with a sharp right uppercut.  
Perry quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to Dixon's body.  
Perry steps inside and attempts to land a left hook, but Dixon dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Dixon sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Perry digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Perry is on target with a right uppercut to Dixon's body.  
Dixon pivots from in front of his opponent.  Perry drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Perry closes the distance and digs in a left uppercut to Dixon's liver.  
Perry steps inside and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Perry lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Perry gets on the inside.  Perry sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Perry steps inside.  Perry pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Dixon attempts to land a jab, but Perry sidesteps and counters with a solid left hook.  
Perry gets on the inside and drives a left hook into Dixon's liver.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Dixon's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Dixon's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Perry thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Dixon away.  Perry lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND DIXON IS DOWN!  He remains on the canvas as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Perry!
