Darryl Abar vs Joseph MacDonald

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas,  taking place on 16/10/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Darryl Abar (18(18) - 0) who hails from Jacksonville, USA and Joseph MacDonald(4 - 1) from Richmond, USA.  Abar weighed in at 147 pounds, while MacDonald weighed in at 146 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Pedro Lua, and the three ringside judges are Chris Cadwallader, Danny Doctor and Darryl Draffen.  

Round 1: 

MacDonald closes the distance.  Abar digs in a left hook to MacDonald's body.  Abar holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Abar pushes his forearm into MacDonald's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Abar to stop fouling.  
MacDonald throws a right uppercut, but Abar clinches his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
MacDonald throws a right hook, but Abar clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Abar pushes his forearm into MacDonald's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Abar about fouling.

Abar quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a firm left uppercut.  
Abar lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  Abar attempts to land a right uppercut, but MacDonald blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
MacDonald is looking to close the distance.  Abar lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  Abar ties up his opponent.  Abar is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Abar lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Abar manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Abar throws a left uppercut, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Abar ties up his opponent.  Abar leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Abar's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Abar lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Abar lands consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Abar drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  Abar clinches his opponent.  Abar uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on MacDonald's kidney. The referee warns Abar and breaks the clinch.  
Abar throws a left uppercut, but his opponent avoids the shot.  Abar clinches his opponent.  Abar leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Abar hits home with a right hook.  Abar ties up his opponent.  Abar leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The referee breaks up the clinch and lectures Abar to stop holding.  
Abar gets on the inside and is on target with a left hook.  
Abar digs in a right uppercut to MacDonald's ribs.  
Abar lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  
Abar cuts off the ring, trapping MacDonald on the ropes.  Abar is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents body.

Abar is looking to force the stoppage!  Abar lands two left hooks followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND MACDONALD IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  It looks like MacDonald has now recovered from that shot earlier.
