Leon Malley vs Evan Higgins

Boxing Daily Report from the Leprechaun Promotions promoted show at St Kevins Hall, Belfast,  taking place on 18/10/2043:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Northern Ireland Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Leon Malley (5 - 10(1) - 8) who hails from Londonderry, UK and Evan Higgins(28 - 23(6)) from Bangor, UK.  Malley weighed in at 174 pounds And 15 ounces, while Higgins weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul Sheridan, and the three ringside judges are Josh Brannon, Cillian Dolan and David Hastie.  

Round 1: 

Malley steps to the outside and is on target with a cross.  
Malley throws a right hook, but Higgins ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Higgins pushes his forearm into Malley's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Higgins throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Malley dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Higgins lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Higgins gets on the inside and connects with a stinging right uppercut.  
Malley throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Higgins to the neutral corner.  He warns Malley that he could be heading for a point deduction.
