Byron Bassong vs Veltry Mpontshane

Boxing Daily Report from the Skebenga Corp promoted show at Bellville Velodrome, Cape Town,  taking place on 17/10/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the African Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Byron Bassong (21(15) - 7(5)) who hails from Garoua, Cameroon and Veltry Mpontshane(13(6) - 1(1)) from Pretoria, South Africa.  Both Bassong and Mpontshane weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bongi Rantie, and the three ringside judges are Runako Mashaba, La Vonn Dorkenoo and Laken Ako.
