Jose Alvizo vs Ulises Maldonado

Boxing Daily Report from the Anyidoho Promotions promoted show at Quito Casado Gym, Leon,  taking place on 28/10/2043:

Clearly Anyidoho Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Guanajuato Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jose Alvizo (6 - 13) who hails from Leon, Mexico and Ulises Maldonado(6 - 13 - 5) from Irapuato, Mexico.  Alvizo weighed in at 125 pounds and 13 ounces, while Maldonado weighed in at 125 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Carlos Camara, and the three ringside judges are Juan Gusman, Xavion Chavarria and Jose Nova.

Maldonado quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Alvizo hits home with a right uppercut.

Maldonado advances into close range.  Maldonado sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Alvizo digs in a right uppercut to Maldonado's ribs.  Alvizo ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Alvizo pushes his forearm into Maldonado's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Alvizo to stop fouling.

Alvizo wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Maldonado.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.

Alvizo sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Alvizo throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Maldonado time to recover.
