Geoff Colville vs James Romans

Boxing Daily Report from the Oak Promotions promoted show at Hornby Working Mens Club, Christchurch,  taking place on 30/10/2043:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the New Zealand-Canterbury Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Geoff Colville (2 - 1) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and James Romans(2 - 10(1) - 1) from Christchurch, New Zealand.  Colville weighed in at 117 pounds and 10 ounces, while Romans weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dave Sprouse, and the three ringside judges are Dave Pera, Tobias Vert and Ikei Kahu.  

Round 1: 

Colville is looking to keep the action on the outside and hits home with a cross.

Colville has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
