Dario Vasconcelos vs Macario Renteria

Boxing Daily Report from the Habe Promotions promoted show at Quito Madray, Quito,  taking place on 13/10/2043:

Clearly Habe Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Dario Vasconcelos (7(4) - 0) who hails from Santo Domingo, Ecuador and Macario Renteria(5 - 7(1) - 2) from Guayaquil, Ecuador.  Both Vasconcelos and Renteria weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paco Florez, and the three ringside judges are Jose Lama, Rogelio Remigio and Luis Mazariegos.  

Round 1:

Vasconcelos lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Vasconcelos is looking to keep his distance.  Vasconcelos senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Vasconcelos lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands two consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head, AND DROPS RENTERIA!  He is back up on his feet at 9.  Renteria now seems to have got his legs back.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Vasconcelos's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Renteria's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

Vasconcelos snaps his opponents head back with a stiff jab.  
Vasconcelos DETONATES a WICKED cross on his opponents face.  RENTERIA WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Renteria recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Vasconcelos sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Vasconcelos steps to the outside and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Vasconcelos lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Vasconcelos lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Vasconcelos lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Vasconcelos lands a cross, overhand right and an overhand left to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS RENTERIA DOWN!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Vasconcelos!
