Che Trong vs Hugh Mongcopa

Boxing Daily Report from the Bàn tay vàng Promotions promoted show at Sheraton Saigon Hotel & Towers, Ho Chi Minh City,  taking place on 14/11/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Che Trong (11(8) - 0) who hails from Haiphong, Vietnam and Hugh Mongcopa(6 - 8 - 2) from Quezon City, Philippines.  Both Trong and Mongcopa weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Pho Hieu, and the three ringside judges are Tian Dung, Tien Manh and Lien Trung.  

Round 1: 

Trong quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Mongcopa tries to land a cross, but Trong sidesteps and counters with a cross.

Mongcopa closes the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Trong on the ropes.  Trong lands a right uppercut, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents head.  Trong clinches his opponent.  Trong leans on his opponent using all his weight. As they grapple, Trong pushes his forearm into Mongcopa's face.  The ref breaks Trong's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Trong feints a cross, fooling Mongcopa into launching a left hook counter.  Trong springs the trap and counters with  a left hook.

Trong pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a solid cross.  
Trong feints a cross, and then is on target with a stiff jab.  
Trong lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS MONGCOPA DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 8.  
Some sustained pressure from Trong could be enough to finish Mongcopa!  Trong lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head, AND MONGCOPA IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Mongcopa cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Trong!
