Neron Borquez vs Montana Cotta

Boxing Daily Report from the Mwanambulo Promotions promoted show at Panama City Pacifico, Panama City,  taking place on 02/11/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Panama-Panama State Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Neron Borquez (4 - 9(1) - 2) who hails from Panama City, Panama and Montana Cotta(8 - 6(2)) from Panama City, Panama.  Borquez weighed in at 168 pounds, while Cotta weighed in at 167 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Juan Acero, and the three ringside judges are Rio Mazariegos, Manuel Gutierres and Zelipe Prudencio.  

Round 1: 

Cotta is looking to close the distance.  Borquez throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Cotta drives a right hook into his opponents body.  Cotta ties up his opponent.  Cotta is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Cotta throws a right uppercut, but is unable to find the target.  Cotta clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Cotta pushes his forearm into Borquez's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Cotta lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Borquez tries to step out of his opponents range.  Cotta lands a sharp jab.  
Borquez is looking to close the distance.  Cotta hits home with a left hook.  
Cotta throws a left hook, but is off-target.  Cotta holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Cotta pushes his forearm into Borquez's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Cotta to stop fouling.  
Cotta lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.

Cotta is on target with a right hook.  Cotta clinches his opponent.  Cotta uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Borquez behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Cotta feints a cross, and then hits home with a left uppercut.  
Cotta tries to land a right hook, but Borquez sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Cotta gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Cotta holds on to his opponent.  Cotta leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Cotta lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Cotta closes the distance.  Cotta wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Borquez dabs at his face checking for damage.  Borquez has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Borquez attempts to land a left hook, but Cotta blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.
