Corey Makiadi vs Stephen Uys

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Gold Reef Entertainment Centre, Johannesburg,  taking place on 06/11/2043:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the South Africa-Gauteng Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Corey Makiadi (12 - 6(2) - 2) who hails from Germiston, South Africa and Stephen Uys(35(5) - 22(8) - 2) from Roodepoort, South Africa.  Both Makiadi and Uys weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Justus De Vries, and the three ringside judges are John Masina, Simba Bariagher and Colin Ntambwe.  

Round 1: 

Uys lands with a solid jab.
