Joshua Liddell vs Charlie Raine

Boxing Daily Report from the John Wayne promoted show at James Isbister Gym, Evansville,  taking place on 04/11/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Indiana Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joshua Liddell (8 - 12 - 1) who hails from Fort Wayne, USA and Charlie Raine(6 - 29(1) - 8) from Fort Wayne, USA.  Both Liddell and Raine weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Noel Housler, and the three ringside judges are Jacob Blaikie, Tobias Gowans and Bob Boswell.  

Round 1: 

Liddell connects with a cross.  
Liddell pivots from in front of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  
As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Liddell dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Liddell sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a cross to Raine's body.  
Raine gets on the inside.  Liddell is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Liddell gets on the inside.  Liddell pivots from in front of his opponent.  Raine connects with a left hook.  
Liddell feints a cross, and then finds the target with a jab.  
Liddell backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Raine steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.
