Ogenyi Iwuji vs Oliver Konadu

Boxing Daily Report from the Skebenga Corp promoted show at African Gym, Accra,  taking place on 22/10/2043:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Ogenyi Iwuji (0 - 0) who hails from Zaria, Nigeria and Oliver Konadu(12 - 16(5) - 6) from Tamale, Ghana.  Iwuji weighed in at 139 pounds and 15 ounces, while Konadu weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Richie Buah, and the three ringside judges are Chris Dokuaa, Louis Kugblenu and Greg Quatey.  

Round 1: 

Iwuji steps inside and is on target with a left hook to Konadu's body.  Iwuji holds on to his opponent.  Iwuji is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Konadu tries to land a jab, but Iwuji slips the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Iwuji finds the target with a sharp jab.  
Konadu steps away from his opponent.  Iwuji feints a cross, and then lands a jab followed by  two overhand rights to his opponents head.  
Iwuji is on target with a powerful left uppercut to Konadu's body.  KONADU IS HURT!  Iwuji holds on to his opponent.  Iwuji pushes his forearm into Konadu's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Iwuji.  Konadu recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Iwuji lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Iwuji holds on to his opponent.  Iwuji leans on his opponent using all his weight. Iwuji throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. 
Iwuji walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Iwuji is on target with a stinging right hook to Konadu's body.  Iwuji holds on to his opponent.  Iwuji leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Iwuji lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He then lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Konadu recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Iwuji pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a sharp right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Konadu is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Iwuji feints a jab, fooling Konadu into launching a left hook counter.  Iwuji springs the trap and counters with  a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Iwuji gets on the inside.  Iwuji quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Iwuji throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  Iwuji ties up his opponent.  Iwuji leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Iwuji drives a firm right uppercut into Konadu's ribcage.  
Iwuji lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Iwuji forces Konadu to retreat into the corner.  Iwuji lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Iwuji senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Konadu and just needs the right shot.  Iwuji lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND KONADU IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  Konadu now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Iwuji lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Iwuji lands a jab to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Konadu almost instantly recovers. 
Iwuji closes the distance and is on target with a left uppercut to Konadu's ribs.  
Iwuji drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Iwuji feints a left hook, and then finds the target with a jab.  
Iwuji gets on the inside and lands a right hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Konadu throws a left hook, but Iwuji ties up his opponent.  Iwuji leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Iwuji lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND SENDS KONADU SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He fails to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Iwuji!
