John Bau vs Jake McLain

Boxing Daily Report from the Brenin Promotions promoted show at Ryan Gym, Cambridge,  taking place on 15/10/2043:

Clearly Brenin Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are John Bau (0 - 0) who hails from York, UK and Jake McLain(1 - 3(1) - 2) from Birmingham, UK.  Both Bau and McLain weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mel Williams, and the three ringside judges are Bruce Milne, Elliot Hickey and Henry Law.  

Round 1: 

Bau gets on the inside and hits home with a left hook.  Bau clinches his opponent.  McLain is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns McLain and breaks the clinch.

The referee breaks the clinch and warns Bau to stop fouling.  As Bau tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as McLain dabs at his face checking for damage.
