Danny Griffith vs Leon Probert

Boxing Daily Report from the Ognjen promoted show at AT&T Park, San Francisco,  taking place on 19/11/2043:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Americas Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Danny Griffith (19(15) - 1(1)) who hails from Nashville, USA and Leon The Thin Man Probert(23(17) - 1) from Nassau, Bahamas.  Griffith weighed in at 129 pounds and 6 ounces, while Probert weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Gourley, and the three ringside judges are Chris Morgan, Charlie Valdivia and Clint Probert.  

Round 1: 

Probert gets on the inside.  Griffith drives a right uppercut into Probert's ribs.  
Probert pivots from in front of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  As Griffith tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Probert dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Griffith steps away from his opponent and hits home with a firm cross.  
Probert closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Griffith is looking to keep his distance.  Probert sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Griffith hits home with a cross.  
Griffith lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Griffith tries to keep the action at long range and lands a solid cross.  
Probert quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Griffith lands a cross, overhand right and a cross to his opponents head.  
Probert drives a solid left hook into Griffith's body.  
Probert steps inside.  Griffith drives a stinging left hook into Probert's liver.  
Griffith is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Griffith gets on the inside.  Probert pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He then lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Probert is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Probert connects with a big left uppercut.  GRIFFITH HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  Griffith now seems to have got his legs back.  
Griffith lands a right hook.  
Griffith drives a left hook into Probert's body.  
Probert gets on the inside and forces Griffith to back into the ropes.  Griffith is on target with a stinging left hook to Probert's body.  
Probert drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Probert quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Griffith hits home with a left hook.  
Probert switches the action to the outside and is on target with a solid cross.  
Probert gets on the inside.  Probert sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Griffith drives a sharp left hook into Probert's body.  
Griffith steps away from his opponent and lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  Griffith attempts to land a jab, but Probert slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Griffith's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Round 2: 

Probert steps inside.  Griffith digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  Griffith attempts to land a left hook, but Probert parries the shot and counters with a VICIOUS right uppercut.  IT LOOKS LIKE GRIFFITH WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Griffith recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Probert gets on the inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Griffith in the corner.  Probert is on target with a hurtful left hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE GRIFFITH WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Griffith quickly recovers. 
Probert hits home with a stinging left hook.  
Probert sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Griffith tries to step out of his opponents range and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Probert steps inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Probert pivots to the side of his opponent.  Probert throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Probert pivots to the side of his opponent and digs in a firm right hook to his opponents body.  
Griffith switches the action to the outside and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Griffith steps to the outside.  Probert tries to land a jab, but Griffith sidesteps and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Griffith switches the action to the outside.  Probert DETONATES a FEROCIOUS cross on his opponents face.  GRIFFITH IS HURT!  
Probert knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Probert lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS GRIFFITH DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Probert advances into close range and manouvers Griffith into a corner.  Probert lands a FIERCE right hook.  GRIFFITH IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  HE UNSTEADILY TRIES TO GET UP BUT IS UNABLE TO BEAT THE 10 COUNT!  The winner by KO is Probert!
