Akira Arai vs Shinji Kubo

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Tokyo promoted show at Dai Tano Gym, Tokyo,  taking place on 06/11/2043:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Tokyo Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Akira Arai (9 - 14(1) - 5) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Shinji Kubo(5 - 18(1) - 5) from Tokyo, Japan.  Arai weighed in at 147 pounds, while Kubo weighed in at 146 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Satoshi Fuse, and the three ringside judges are Yasushi Nakashima, Hisoka Yamamoto and Ryo Shiroma.

Kubo advances into close range.  Arai lands a left uppercut.
