Iago Magallanes vs Xavion Almanzar

Boxing Daily Report from the Sucre Promotions promoted show at Jax Bolivar Gym, Guayaquil,  taking place on 10/11/2043:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Ecuador-Guayas Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Iago Magallanes (4 - 7(1) - 4) who hails from Guayaquil, Ecuador and Xavion Almanzar(9 - 11 - 3) from Duran, Ecuador.  Both Magallanes and Almanzar weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Juan Martinez, and the three ringside judges are Quiqui Rubi, Vicente Tamez and Santiago Ferro.  

Round 1: 

The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Almanzar dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Magallanes is on target with a left hook.  
Magallanes quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Magallanes switches the action to the outside and connects with a cross.  
Almanzar gets on the inside.  Magallanes goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Almanzar time to recover.  
Almanzar lands a jab.

Magallanes wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Almanzar dabs at his face checking for damage.
