Yago Martel vs Noe Verduzco

Boxing Daily Report from the Acheampong Promotions promoted show at Santo Domingo de Guz Gonzalez, Santo Domingo de Guzman,  taking place on 15/11/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Dominican Republic Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CERTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Yago Martel (12(2) - 1) who hails from Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic and Noe Verduzco(30(16) - 4(3)) from Santo Domingo de Guzman, Dominican Republic.  Both Martel and Verduzco weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Enzo Montes, and the three ringside judges are Alejandro Cardoso, Rogelio Sagun and Elias Arredondo.  

Round 1: 

Verduzco advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Martel tries to step out of his opponents range.  Martel feints a cross, tricking Verduzco into launching a cross counter.  Martel springs the trap, countering with  a cross.
