Quico Marcos vs Juan Chaparro

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at HSBC Arena, Rio de Janeiro,  taking place on 02/01/2044:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the South American Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SporTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Quico Marcos (27(14) - 4(1) - 1) who hails from Brasilia, Brazil and Juan Chaparro(56(46) - 19(16) - 1) from Montevideo, Uruguay.  Both Marcos and Chaparro weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Cortez Maio, and the three ringside judges are Dimos Triano, Loredo Souto and Fraco Montano.  

Round 1:

Chaparro has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  Chaparro quickly recovers.

As they grapple, Chaparro pushes his forearm into Marcos's face.  The ref breaks Marcos's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Marcos manouvers Chaparro onto the ropes.  Chaparro is on target with a left hook.  
Marcos throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Chaparro's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Chaparro is on target with a sharp left uppercut to Marcos's body.  Chaparro attempts to land a right hook, but Marcos dodges the shot and counters with a VICIOUS left hook.  CHAPARRO WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Marcos is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Marcos lands a right hook, right uppercut and a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS CHAPARRO DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  
Marcos lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS CHAPARRO SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Chaparro now seems to have his senses back.
