Merrel Strub vs Ivo Schaer

Boxing Daily Report from the Appiah Promotions promoted show at Hanover Stoller, Hanover,  taking place on 24/11/2043:

Clearly Appiah Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Germany-Lower Saxony Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Merrel Strub (6 - 5(1)) who hails from Braunschweig, Germany and Ivo Schaer(19 - 20(6) - 5) from Hanover, Germany.  Both Strub and Schaer weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bernardyn Matti, and the three ringside judges are Gilleasbuig Masch, Gerrard Bixel and Burk Alberding.  

Round 1: 

Schaer feints a right hook, and then connects with a cross.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Schaer has taken some damage there.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.  
Strub closes the distance and is on target with a sharp left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Strub lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.
