Nicandro Baron vs Noe Amado

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Puerto Rico-Bayamon promoted show at Ovidio Umanzor Gym, Bayamon,  taking place on 01/12/2043:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Puerto Rico-Bayamon Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nicandro Baron (22(18) - 1) who hails from Bayamon, Puerto Rico and Noe Amado(4 - 1) from Bayamon, Puerto Rico.  Both Baron and Amado weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joaquin Capo, and the three ringside judges are Eduardo Mallen, Baltasar Castilleja and Ramirez Fontan.  

Round 1: 

Baron closes the distance and is on target with a left hook to Amado's body.  
Baron backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Amado accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Baron.  
Baron digs in a stinging left hook to his opponents body.  Amado wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Baron dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Baron hits home with a stiff jab.  
Baron advances into close range and is on target with a sharp left hook to his opponents body.  Baron ties up his opponent.  Baron throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee warns Baron and breaks the clinch.  
Baron lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Baron is looking to close the distance and hits home with a firm left uppercut.  
Baron lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Baron ties up his opponent.  Amado throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Amado to stop fouling.

Baron lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Baron ties up his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Baron finds the target with a jab.  
Baron lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Baron lands a right uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Amado pivots to the side of his opponent.  Amado throws a right hook, but Baron holds on to his opponent.  Amado is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Amado to stop fouling.  
Amado is on target with a left hook.  
Baron gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Baron clinches his opponent.  Baron leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Baron's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Amado tries to keep the action at long range and tries to land a cross, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Baron lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Baron is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Amado's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Amado switches the action to the outside and tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Baron lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND AMADO IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Amado quickly recovers. 
Amado sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Baron is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  Baron clinches his opponent.  Baron throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee warns Baron and breaks the clinch.

He continues the combination and lands a straight 1 - 2, AND AMADO IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Baron!
