Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Estadio Nacional de F+�tbol Pedro Marrero, Havana,  taking place on 09/01/2044:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Cuba Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Salvador Alcoser (38(30) - 1) who hails from Santiago de Cuba, Cuba and Xavier Jerez(20(6) - 1(1) - 2) from Camaguey, Cuba.  Both Alcoser and Jerez weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Neper Quinonez, and the three ringside judges are Alejandro Limas, Alvino Navarra and Fidel Juarez.
