Shamus McNicol vs Xabat Cobos

Boxing Daily Report from the HONEYPUNCH promoted show at RDS Arena, Dublin,  taking place on 12/12/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Setanta Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Shamus McNicol (13(7) - 0) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Xabat Cobos(29 - 9 - 1) from Quito, Ecuador.  McNicol weighed in at 167 pounds and 11 ounces, while Cobos weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fionn Delaney, and the three ringside judges are Jason Farrell, Nathan McKay and Cillian Murphy.  

Round 1: 

McNicol quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.
