Ronan Moore vs Kieran McLean

Boxing Daily Report from the HONEYPUNCH promoted show at The O2, Dublin,  taking place on 02/01/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Irish-Leinster Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Setanta Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ronan Moore (23(19) - 0) who hails from Dun Laoghaire, Ireland and Kieran McLean(22 - 20(7) - 3) from Dublin, Ireland.  Both Moore and McLean weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dan McCorquodale, and the three ringside judges are Paul Healy, Mike Green and Brett Rabbitt.  

Round 1: 

Moore pivots to the right of his opponent.  Moore tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.

McLean throws a right hook, but Moore ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Moore pushes his forearm into McLean's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Moore pivots to the right of his opponent and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Moore forces McLean to back into the ropes.  Moore quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  McLean throws a left hook, but Moore holds on to his opponent.  Moore tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits McLean behind the head. Moore is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Moore's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
McLean throws a left hook, but Moore ties up his opponent.  Moore tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits McLean's kidney. The referee warns Moore and breaks the clinch.  
Moore hits home with a sharp left hook.  
Moore finds the target with a ramrod jab.  
Moore lands a right hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a right hook to the head.  
McLean sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  McLean tries to land a jab, but Moore blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Moore throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Moore clinches his opponent.  Moore leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Moore closes the distance and lands two left hook's to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Moore lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
McLean sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Moore lands a cross to the head, a jab to the body and a cross to the head.  
Moore gets on the inside.  Moore lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  McLean has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused a slight cut  the right eye.  .  
McLean is on target with a left hook.  
Moore gets on the inside and manouvers his opponent into a neutral corner.  Moore pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a left uppercut to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  McLean almost instantly gets his legs back. 
McLean tries to keep the action at long range.  Moore lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Moore gets on the inside.  Moore lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Moore dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Moore is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.

Moore throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps.  Moore ties up his opponent.  Moore leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...McLean's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  McLean's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  McLean's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Moore steps inside.  McLean tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp cross.  
Moore pivots to the side of his opponent and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Moore hits home with a left hook.  
Moore drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Moore sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Moore gets on the inside and lands a sharp right uppercut.  
Moore pivots to the side of his opponent.  Moore lands a right hook, left hook and a right uppercut to his opponents head.  Moore ties up his opponent.  Moore leans on his opponent using all his weight. Moore hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The ref breaks Moore's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
McLean throws a left hook, but Moore ties up his opponent.  Moore leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Moore uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits McLean behind the head. 
Moore sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by two right hook's to the body.  
Moore lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

McLean sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Moore lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Moore walks McLean down, trapping him on the ropes.  Moore pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a nasty right hook.  
Moore is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Moore lands a left uppercut, cross and a left hook to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS MCLEAN DOWN!  He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is Moore!
