Paul Lochridge vs Mick Maddex

Boxing Daily Report from the FightArama promoted show at Horncastle Arena, Christchurch,  taking place on 08/01/2044:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV One, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Paul Lochridge (9(3) - 2(2)) who hails from Wellington, New Zealand and Mick Maddex(30 - 18(11) - 2) from Wellington, New Zealand.  Both Lochridge and Maddex weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dave Sprouse, and the three ringside judges are Robert Lawman, Jonathan Lockaby and David Neild.  

Round 1: 

Lochridge hits home with a ramrod jab.  
Maddex advances into close range.  Lochridge lands a solid left uppercut.  Lochridge holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Lochridge pushes his forearm into Maddex's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Lochridge.

Maddex manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Maddex is on target with a left hook.  
Lochridge switches the action to the outside and lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  Lochridge attempts to land a jab, but Maddex blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Maddex steps inside.  Lochridge lands a sharp left uppercut.  
Lochridge is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Lochridge hits home with an overhand left.  
Maddex closes the distance.  Lochridge is on target with a stinging left uppercut.  
Lochridge tries to keep the action at long range and lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.

Lochridge tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Maddex's kidney. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Lochridge about fouling.

Lochridge is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  Lochridge throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.
