Owen Perk vs John Groat

Boxing Daily Report from the Raven Promotions promoted show at Nashville Rhydderch, Nashville,  taking place on 10/12/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Tennessee Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Owen Perk (6 - 19(1) - 2) who hails from Memphis, USA and John Groat(7 - 4 - 3) from Nashville, USA.  Both Perk and Groat weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Robert Davidson, and the three ringside judges are Billy Dey, Robert Davidson and Chris Rufino.  

Round 1: 

Perk pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a cross.  
Perk walks Groat down, trapping him in a corner.  Perk lands a cross.

It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Perk.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
