James Covarrubias vs Vail Duchesnay

Boxing Daily Report from the Plunder Boxing promoted show at SSE Hydro, Glasgow,  taking place on 28/12/2043:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the IRBF Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are James Covarrubias (14(13) - 3 - 1) who hails from Zamboanga City, Philippines and Vail Duchesnay(14(10) - 6(3) - 1) from Bouake, Ivory Coast.  Both Covarrubias and Duchesnay weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ed McPhatter, and the three ringside judges are David McClarnon, Gordon Loch and David Hall.  

Round 1: 

Duchesnay attempts to land a right uppercut, but Covarrubias dodges the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut.
