Nicolas Haddad vs Alexandre Ionesco

Boxing Daily Report from the Ferry Boxing promoted show at La Cite Nantes Events Centre, Nantes,  taking place on 11/12/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Nicolas Haddad (3(2) - 0) who hails from Argenteuil, France and Alexandre Ionesco(18 - 5(1) - 5) from Bordeaux, France.  Haddad weighed in at 111 pounds And 15 ounces, while Ionesco weighed in at 111 pounds And 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Labaron Pierre-Louis, and the three ringside judges are Labaron Pierre-Louis, Jeremie Chaudet and Beau Beger.  

Round 1: 

Haddad switches the action to the outside.  Haddad lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  Ionesco is on target with a jab to his opponents body.  
Haddad connects with a SAVAGE cross.  IONESCO IS HURT!  Ionesco recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Haddad lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Haddad steps to the outside.  Haddad sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands with a sharp jab.  
Haddad SLAMS a BRUTAL overhand left into his opponents face.  IT LOOKS LIKE IONESCO WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Ionesco recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Haddad finds the target with a jab.  
Ionesco is looking to close the distance.  Haddad lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head, DROPPING IONESCO TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.  Haddad clinches his opponent.  Haddad pushes his forearm into Ionesco's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Haddad to stop fouling.  
Haddad switches the action to the outside and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  Haddad attempts to land a cross, but Ionesco dodges the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Haddad connects with a solid overhand right.  
Haddad tries to keep the action at long range and lands a solid jab.  
Haddad lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Haddad lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Haddad is on target with a solid jab.  
Ionesco advances into close range.  Haddad lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Haddad ties up his opponent.  Haddad throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. Haddad leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Haddad lands two jabs followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Haddad lands a cross, overhand right and an overhand left to his opponents head.  
Haddad quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Ionesco throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Ionesco gets on the inside and forces Haddad to back into the ropes.  Ionesco pivots to the side of his opponent.  Ionesco throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a stinging left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Haddad steps to the outside and lands a jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Ionesco's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.
