Greg Hay vs Duncan Young

Boxing Daily Report from the FightArama promoted show at Horncastle Arena, Christchurch,  taking place on 08/01/2044:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV One, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Greg Hay (9(9) - 4 - 1(NC)) who hails from Adelaide, Australia and Duncan Young(5 - 10 - 1) from Manukau, New Zealand.  Both Hay and Young weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dave Sprouse, and the three ringside judges are Robert Lawman, Jonathan Lockaby and David Neild.  

Round 1: 

Young gets on the inside.  Hay throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  Hay holds on to his opponent.  Hay leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Hay switches the action to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Young gets on the inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Hay on the ropes.  Young throws a left uppercut, but Hay clinches his opponent.  Hay is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Hay and breaks the clinch.  
Young lands a right hook.  
Hay is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a ramrod jab.  
Young closes the distance.  Hay digs in a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Hay feints a jab, and then lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a jab to the head.  
Hay steps to the outside and connects with a firm overhand left.  
Hay lands an overhand left to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
Young steps inside.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Young has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Hay is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Hay switches the action to the outside.  Hay feints a right hook, and then hits home with a sharp jab.  
Young walks Hay onto the ropes.  Hay lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Hay is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents body.  
Hay sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Hay lands a double jab to his opponents head.  Hay attempts to land a jab, but Young dodges the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Hay is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Hay feints a left hook, but Young is not fooled and is on target with a right uppercut.  
Hay feints a jab, and then lands an overhand left.  
Hay lands with a stiff jab.  
Hay lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Hay tries to keep the action at long range and lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.

Young closes the distance.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Hay dabs at his face checking for damage.
