Khalid Daoud vs Gethin Kibuuka

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Uganda-Northern Region promoted show at Lira Ellahi, Lira,  taking place on 17/12/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Uganda Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on UTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Khalid Daoud (30(27) - 24(21)) who hails from Gulu, Uganda and Gethin Kibuuka(14 - 2(1)) from Gulu, Uganda.  Daoud weighed in at 147 pounds, while Kibuuka weighed in at 147 pounds and 12 ounces.    As Kibuuka came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Keshawn Drito, and the three ringside judges are Quarren Adubango, Sam Nyanzi and Chiamaka Mugasa.  

Round 1:

Kibuuka attempts to land a jab, but Daoud slips the shot and counters with a WICKED cross.  KIBUUKA HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 8.
