Ronald MacEachern vs David Cooney

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Pearse Stadium, Galway,  taking place on 02/01/2044:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the European Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RET One, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ronald MacEachern (47(37) - 6(4)) who hails from Glasgow, UK and David Cú Chulainn Cooney(36(23) - 2(2)) from Cork, Ireland.  MacEachern weighed in at 118 pounds, while Cooney weighed in at 117 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ian Doyle, and the three ringside judges are Ross Fitzgerald, Shamus McCaleb and Paul Mahoney.
