Boxing Daily Report from the Knoetze Promotions promoted show at Perth Shevchuk, Perth,  taking place on 18/12/2043:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia-Western Australia Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Dickins (3 - 6 - 1) who hails from Perth, Australia and Sam Highland(6 - 9(2) - 2) from Perth, Australia.  Both Dickins and Highland weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Drummond, and the three ringside judges are Chris Vaughn, Leeroy Babinski and Vincent Dykes.  

Round 1: 

Dickins lands a right uppercut.  
As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Highland has taken some damage there.  That has caused minor damage to the nose.  
Dickins feints a cross, and then hits home with a cross.

Highland is looking to close the distance.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Highland dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Highland gets on the inside and forces Dickins to retreat onto the ropes.  Dickins is on target with a right hook.
