Jax Sarmento vs Juan Avila

Boxing Daily Report from the Nyauza Promotions promoted show at Salvador Noronha, Salvador,  taking place on 19/12/2043:

Clearly Nyauza Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Brazil-Bahia Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jax Sarmento (3 - 8(1) - 2) who hails from Salvador, Brazil and Juan Avila(7 - 12 - 3) from Salvador, Brazil.  Both Sarmento and Avila weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Venacio Amparo, and the three ringside judges are Sancho Coval, Onofre Meneses and Ora Gomes.  

Round 1: 

Sarmento advances into close range and lands a left uppercut.  
Avila feints a cross, fooling Sarmento into launching a left hook counter.  Avila springs the trap and counters with  a cross.  
Sarmento is looking to close the distance.  Avila pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to his opponents ribs.

Sarmento throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action and gives Avila time to recover.
